Use the awards as clues to games  (contact bobby to see the Award Certificates)

Wiggle award can be used for the song ‘sexy and I know it’ although the words are a bit iffy  could be edited down

You could also use it for flossing dance

As a control measure I get the kids in front of the disco before each game and at a reasonable distance - this encourages them to see me as an authority figure

Lots of screaming and shouting helps

Presentation of certificates as a show - role on the  drum (by getting the kids to stamp their feet) and with rounds of applause etc

Setting the scene

Get all the kids up and do a warm up -

Move your toes then legs then bottoms etc finish with jumping up and down then screaming

Then get the kids to go and get adults

Pick an adult for a helper – look for a suitable candidate – ask their name and say correct (I call them other daft names ‘yorick’  and the like instead)

Ask them to demonstrate statues then get everyone to do statues

Then bumps then again get everyone to bump

Then dogs – get them to bark then bark louder, wag tail say a bit more tail then pant with tongue out then more panting – get everyone to do it

The Game -     Play song turn down and give commands statues- bumps – dogs

I do statues and bumps a few times but different animals between and after the first time I do 3 animals in a row turning the music down between the calls

I used monkeys early and lions early these are the noisiest

Snakes, mouse, crocs, elephants, wolf, seagull, pussy cat, puppy dog then happy puppy with big tail, horses then horses in a race then a race with jumps, chicken then chicken laying an egg then a square egg, school teachers and anything else that comes to mind
