This page attempts to cover using games as an Ice Breaker
Disco-UK also provide an evenings entertainment called ‘The Compendium’ but this is complex and is currently displayed in ‘New of 2026’
Games should only be played at the request of the client as not everyone would appreciate a different format to a Party Disco
You will need 2 things:
1 A radio Mic
2 Confidence
Firstly you will be out in front of your kit (hence the two things) and you are no longer the DJ you are now the ‘Entertainer’. Keep the games simple
Heads and Tails
Knights and Maidens
There are many other similar games and you can invent your own - sort out a prize with the organiser
Firstly everyone stands and the participants need to choose one of the options (we will use Heads and Tails as an example)
So they pick heads (hands on their head) or Tails (hands on their butts) - toss a coin and if the coin lands on heads then those with their hands on their heads are out , when you have perhaps 6 player left get them to the front of the stage and do a very short interview, Name and where are you from etc Try to be fun. Repeat the game until 1 person is left and they are the winner

Prizes under seats
You need to attach tickets under the crowds seats - if someone has the ticket the get the prize - you will need several prizes

Go Get Game
People require to bring something to you - this can be manic, so not for the faint hearted. Lots of ways this can be done, personally a 30 second timer and if they can get to you with the article (in the time) then they go through to the next round
Perhaps one person from each table would work and things like “get me a brown shoe” or “red tie” etc - keep it simple and clean lol (have a list of items written down in advance)

Maiden, one can pose by kneeling on one leg and the other can sit on their knee
